Exclusive Orthodontic Practice

in Chamonix

Welcome to the Exclusive Orthodontic practice of Doctor Félicie EYSSERIC

Our team is pleased to welcome you in a modern and warm structure in the heart of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc.

We are here to advise and support you in the development and follow-up of your and your children's orthodontic treatment.

Working at the cutting edge of the latest techniques, we work in a gently manner, according to the recommendations of the French Society of Dentofacial Orthopaedics.

For whom?

CHILDREN

From 7 years average we will make sure that their jaws are developing correctly and we will be able to accompany them through a first phase of treatment when indicated. This first stage, which lasts from 6 to 12 months, is called "interception". It is painless and allows for the correction of bone or dental discrepancies. This can simplify and shorten the duration of the second stage of treatment when they are adolescents.

TEENAGERS

After a real clinical and radiographic diagnosis, Dr Félicie EYSSERIC will present you with an individualised treatment plan. Your teenagers will be able to benefit from comfortable and discreet devices. They should consult us before their 16th birthday to benefit from a part of the social security coverage.

ADULTS

Thanks to the latest treatment techniques, we can offer you a variety of inconspicuous treatment methods. For example, aligners or invisible braces such as lingual braces (which are attached behind your teeth, on the side of your tongue). An appliance corresponds to a medical prescription, and we will suggest the one that is best suited to your clinical situation.

How can we meet your expectations?

During an initial consultation, we will take all the information necessary to establish an accurate and relevant diagnosis. You will be asked to complete a medical and dental history before the first appointment.

Before the care

First consultation

Patients who are minors must be accompanied by a legal representative.

During the first consultation we will explain to you the broad outlines of an orthodontic treatment.

A clinical examination will determine whether or not orthodontic treatment is needed. After your agreement, this examination may be completed by an orthodontic assessment. This includes taking the clinical photos and X-ray images needed to draw up a diagnosis and an individualised treatment plan. After assessment, your orthodontist to propose the best therapeutic solution.

Particular attention is paid to the whole of the oro-myofascial functions of ventilation,
of mastication and swallowing: we will offer specialised treatment for you or your child.
for you or your children.

Diagnostic report

Patients who are minors must be accompanied by a legal representative.

During this second appointment, we will give you all the explanations necessary to fully understand the treatment plan.

This is a privileged moment of exchange between the patient, the orthodontist and the rest of our team. All the administrative documents will also be given to you during this appointment (cooperation contract and detailed treatment plan, estimate, social security papers, etc.)

During the care

Start of treatment
and fitting of the appliance

This session allows the fitting of the orthodontic appliance adapted to the patient.

After the installation of the device, the explanations are given orally and in writing.

A starter hygiene kit is also offered at this appointment. Specific days and times will be offered.

Follow-up appointments

We take the time to receive each patient in modern, individual treatment rooms.

These follow-up appointments allow us to carry out the necessary checks and modifications to ensure that the orthodontic treatment runs smoothly.

Follow-up appointments are at regular intervals, determined by your practitioner according to the type of device used.

Removal of the unit

When the treatment goals are achieved, we remove the braces. On average, orthodontic treatment can last between 6 months and 3 years: this depends on the age of the patient, the clinical situation and the initial diagnosis.

After the care

Stabilisation, monitoring, restraint

After treatment, where indicated, a retainer can be fitted and monitored on an ad hoc basis as indicated by your orthodontist.

This follow-up is included in the initial quote.
